Description
Real Ajax Uploader For Wordpress is a plugin for uploading files with Ajax (html5 ). It allows users or visitors to upload files to your wordpress site for any reason. This plugins is based on the Real Ajax Multiuploader jquery plugin.
It is based only on javascript and supports html5 uploading but also is compatible with html4.
The CSS and buttons are highly customizable. CSS is written in a readable way and css experts can edit it very easyly. Also icons for file types can be changed to customs ones. When uploading images you have the preview of images before upload start thanks to html5 file api. Also clicking on the images you can have a bigger light box like preview.
When html5 ajax upload it is not supported the plugins falls gracefully to the html upload standard and this makes Real Ajax Uploader compatible with the older browsers like IE 7 +. Also on html5 browser you can select multiple files.
I have adapted this for wordpress and created a simple configuration admin page where the uploader can be set up.
